OVERVIEW

Pipette is a clean and sustainable brand with science-backed, thoughtfully designed products to nurture and support babies skin. After receiving some feedback from retailers on the existing packaging, we took this into account in a full overhaul of the entire collection.

Below is the original packaging, along with various of pieces of feedback we received. The main issue was finding a better way to visually showcase the various fragrances of the Wash & Lotions, not only to make it more obvious to consumers but also to remove the additional ink color and reduce print costs.

ORIGINAL PACKAGING

After many iterations, we landed on the following layout for the Baby Shampoo & Wash.

The following improvements were made with the packaging refresh. Updates were applied to all products.

  1. Moved logo up to the top for better hierarchy, and removed the secondary sprout logo entirely

  2. Increased size of the product name; this could be further increased by being able to remove french translations

  3. Used illustrations to better visually convey the fragrance, and also reduce number of ink colors

  4. Type lockup on the bottom better highlights fragrance as well, which was a concern with retailers
